Summits Marks World Environment Day 2025 with Tree Plantation in Kannampalayam, Coimbatore
Coimbatore, June 5, 2025 — On the occasion of World Environment Day, we partnered with local social welfare organizations and the Kannampalayam Panchayat to lead a meaningful tree plantation drive under the Iyarkai Mission initiative.
The event, held in Kannampalayam, Coimbatore, brought together local authorities, our employees, and community members in a collective effort to promote environmental awareness and sustainable living. Participants planted native tree saplings, reaffirming their commitment to preserving biodiversity and improving the region’s green cover.
This effort is in line with the World Environment Day 2025 theme: “Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience”. Summits believes that consistent, grassroots efforts like this play a key role in restoring ecological balance and empowering local communities.
